These updates give people more independence and control over their health.
Designed for Ease and Better Access
With over 12 million downloads so far, the SNS 24 App is already a key tool in Portugal’s health system. The latest version brings:
A cleaner, easier-to-use design
Simpler navigation
New features to support daily health management
The portal remains a valuable tool for health education and quick access to medical information.
Powered by Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP)
The upgrades were made possible through funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, showing Portugal’s commitment to using technology to improve public health services.
Celebrating Progress Together
The official anniversary event will be held at the Pavilion of Portugal in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. It will bring together citizens, health professionals, media, and partner organizations to explore how digital tools can support health literacy and strengthen patient rights.
